Attendance policy:
The Military Surgery Conference is designed to appeal to medical practitioners, nurses and those in other professions allied to medicine with an active interest in the care of injured or sick service men and women.  The conference content is focused on all aspects of military medicine; however, emphasis is given to the chain of care of injured patients from point of wounding through to rehabilitation.

Because the conference is held at HMS Collingwood, Newgate Lane, Fareham, Hampshire, PO14 1AS, United Kingdom, attendance is restricted. Serving or retired members of the UK’s Defence Medical Services, both regular and reservist are of course welcome to attend, as are members of the Defence Medical Services of overseas nations.

Civilian delegates are warmly welcomed at the conference; however, unless they have been specifically invited by the Conference Secretariat, it is requested that they provide a letter from a serving UK military medical officer in good standing [of rank Surg Cdr / Lt Col / Wing Cdr or above] who is prepared to provide a reference and act as guarantor. Once the referee process has been successfully completed, the approved delegate will be able to register for Military Surgery 2010 and for future meetings without repeating the accreditation procedure.

Cancellation right:
Provided notice is received by Friday 9 April 2010, a full refund will be given less a 5% administration charge. It is regretted for registrations cancelled after Friday 9  April 2010, or for no-shows at the conference, the full fee (100% cancellation charges) will be payable.
